P.J. Asch offers a wide variety of climbing opportunities for all ages and skill levels. We have 6000 square feet of indoor climbing, including a bouldering cave, cracks, inset holds, and walls especially for children and birthday groups. All of the rooms are 42 feet in height, and have top ropes already in place. There are also routes setup for lead climbing.

Classes and private lessons are also available for new climbers, or climbers who want to learn new techniques.

Our retail shop carries a full line of climbing equipment, clothing, and books for popular climbing places. Otterwall Members receive a 10% discount too. Some of the brands we carry includeMetolius, Petzl, Black Diamond, Five Ten, La Sportiva, and more.

Outdoor Climbing: P.J. Asch is also located within easy driving distance to Taylor's Falls, Redwing, and many other small areas for great outdoor climbing! For more information about these areas, click here.

Rules/Waivers: When you come to our climbing gym you will be required to sign some paperwork before you will be allowed to use the gym. You can either stop by the shop and fill these out the day you want to climb, or you can view them online and print them at home. Just click here to learn more. If you are under 18 years old, you will be required to have a parent or guardian sign the waiver for you.

Lessons: PJ Asch offers many types of climbing lessons both indoor and outdoor. The indoor lessons include belaying and basic climbing techniques, and also lead climbing techniques. Our outdoor lessons teach how to safely setup a rope for various types of terrain.
